The Future of Charity Beyond Borders

Healthcare Education

Using the same passion that pull us together with our local higher education partners in Ghana that lead to the creation of the first Respiratory Therapy (BS) Degree Africa; in we aim to expand and introduce even more programs. In addition to providing more information, materials, and connections to existing healthcare programs, we hope to continue a close collaboration with U.S. based universities to connect students and teachers both in person and online.

The need for more respiratory therapists in Ghana has become more apparent over the years. This is why one of our next goals is to assist in the implementation of more Respiratory Therapy (BS) degree across the country by partnering with other regional universities.

Future Projects

Here at Charity Beyond Borders are always looking for new areas of growth around the world, always searching for communities where we can make a difference. In Ghana we have made great strides to establish ourselves as a strong community partner but there is only so much we can directly do while in the country and provide essential resources, both educational and through tools, for locals to continue that momentum. However, with much consideration and even more planning ahead we are excited to evolve our community outreach program to vastly more communities, more than we have ever had the ability to reach before.

By employing locals from all corners of the country we will train them on a wide selection of education topics. They will then be tasked with periodic outreach to a web of rural communities to share that information. Still in its infancy, this plan has an enormous potential impact and can not only provide communities with import information but Charity Beyond Borders will provide the local charity teaching ambassadors compensation for their hard work.

Long-Term Goals

With every milestone we reach there are always more on the horizon. Each year we strive to surpass our own expectations and dream a little bigger.

As we look forward past our current goals and aspirations to a healthier Ghana we see the need for more widely accessible services like the ones we provide but spread across the entire country. This is why as we take steps onward we begin planning and researching a new system of education for Ghana’s communities. This new system would educate locals in each region who would be tasked with sharing our education topics and donations with their regional communities.

There is still much work to be done, networking to solidify, funding to establish, and donations to share. But, for every trip we make and donation we receive we take one step closer to that goal of health education for all in Ghana.
